There are no such restrictions concerning the Mani region. However, in the interests of preservation & maintaining a harmony between buildings & the environment you may find reputable architects encouraging the use of local stone as much as possible in building work. In fact stone is the more favoured choice as it also reflects the traditional style of housing characteristic to the area. |
